Hi everyone! In celebration of Studio Calico's new collections (Autumn Press, Memoir, and Classic Calico), Studio Calico is having a blog blitz :) Be sure to check the SC blog to see who else is participating today!
I was so excited when SC asked me to create some projects for their booth at the Summer CHA. The new collections are gorgeous and I was lucky that I was able to play with two of them - Memoir and Classic Calico.
Here's my first project with the Memoir collection. I used the new butterfly masks and misted the right side of the layout with Custard Mister Huey. I also used some of the new Studio Calico/Hero Arts stamps...can you spot them? :) I really love the Teal chipboard alphas - a familiar font in a gorgeous new color!
I love to incorporate circle elements onto my layouts. Instead of solid circles, I decided to try something new and make little pie charts showcasing some of the Memoir patterned papers.
Here is my second layout with the Memoir collection. I had fun cutting out some of the 'ornament' designs in the Wallpaper patterned paper and filling the holes with patterned paper and photos. I also sprayed a tiny bit of Plum Thumb Mister Huey on the scallop edge at the bottom of the page. I added lots of Memoir label stickers to finish the page :)
Finally, one last project to show you all. I got to make a mini-book using the new Studio Calico alpha journal kit (which is so cute!). The embossed cover was heavily misted with Estate Green Mister Huey. I used lots of Studio Calico/Hero Arts stamps and a mix of Classic Calico and Memoir. Inside the mini-book are divider pages...I used the new scrap pads as tabs :)
Time for a prize ;) Simply leave a comment on this post by Wednesday morning, and I'll randomly draw a winner to win the Memoir teal chipboard alphas. (Product may not be available yet, but it will be shipped directly to the winner as soon as it arrives at Studio Calico headquarters.)
