Simon Says Stamp & Kelly Purkey Blog Hop!

I love Kelly Purkey and her awesome line of products as Simon Says Stamp, so it was a no-brainer when she asked if I wanted to participate in her blog hop. Her newest August + September project kit is now available, and it's filled with an exclusive KP stamp set, cards, embellishments, and a My Mind's Eye paper pad from their new Cut & Paste collection. I was really drawn to the colors of the kit and was happy to put it to use :)

I've been working on a travel mini-book about my recent trip to NYC this past spring, and it was fun to incorporate the new KP project kit in some of my spreads. I also used a few items from her product line, including the Bon Appetit stamps (I have the Foodie ones on the way to me!).

The grey Kelly Purkey alpha stickers included in the project kit are the perfect size. I love that Kelly's released a whole range of colors of these alphas too. 

The business card from Ippudo fit perfectly beside the printed text on this journaling card - a happy surprise! The flair badge is a little bit larger than normal at 1.25" and it's one of the cool, exclusive ones included in the kit.

For this filler card, I cut out the large number 2 with my Silhouette Cameo from one of the My Mind's Eye papers in the kit, and then I added a stamped tab and KP's white alpha stickers. I think it's my favorite card on this spread :)
