Taiwan Travel Mini // Part III

Hello! Here's Day Three of my Taiwan adventures as well as the third part of my 6x8 travel mini! If you missed the other parts, here is where you can find Part I and Part II.

We started our day off with a visit to the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall. Just a couple of photos here and there at this beautiful place!
I love the details of the Memorial Hall stamp - another one from the MRT station. I also used a couple of printables from Wander Elements no.2 and Watercolor no.1 Cards (the navy blue label) to embellish my card.
We took a break at the little garden by the Memorial Hall, so of course, there were more photo ops. I mixed in some journaling cards with a few of my favorite photos.

One of my favorite things about making 6x8 mini-albums is getting to use old Project Life cards - many of which are leftovers from my Studio Calico Project Life kits. The Currently stamp is from Life Documented Manila and is one of my current favorites.
I used one of my Recorded no.1 printable cards at the bottom right of this page and embellished it with some MT Taiwan limited edition washi tape I picked up during my trip. It has this beautiful tile pattern on it and I have grand plans to use it when I get around to documenting my trip to Spain last year; the pattern totally reminds of the beautiful tiles and floors I saw in that country.

My mom's friend had recommended that we try Ice Monster, reputably the best shaved ice in Taipei. It was so incredibly delicious! That yellow mustache guy is actually their business card that I trimmed down to fit in the pocket, and I left lots of room to jot down our experience here.

On the right side, I simply punched holes in a pamphlet I got at our next destination - the Songshan Cultural + Creative Park. It fit perfectly in my album.

The graphic journaling card is from SC's Haring add-on. I wanted to mimic its fun style by stamping my title with Kelly Purkey's outline alphabet + Damen alpha stamps, and then adding pops of color with my Color Theory dye inks.
I added a gold striped envelope to my album so that it could house all the random bits of paper and brochures I collected from this place.

As for the business cards I picked up, I cut them up and interspersed those with some filler cards and photos I took. It was easy to get everything documented by using a 6x8 page protector that has 2" square pockets. I also did a step-by-step tutorial for how I put together the spread on the right over here!

The back side of 2" square has more photos and  business cards. It is busy, but all the details make me happy :)

On our way to the MRT station, we walked through the eco-pond section of the park and got some lovely photos of the buildings reflected in the waters. I love reflection shots and was happy to snap a bunch here!

This little travel tag is from my Wander Elements no.2 set and I wrote down the location of this place so I won't forget in the future.

My last spread for Day Three is just a couple more photos with my relatives since we had dinner together that night. Since I only used 4x6 photos, it was fun to have lots of room to play with some 3x4 filler cards. I used a mix of Ali Edwards + Studio Calico supplies to complete this spread.

I have one final part to share soon. Then this mini book is officially done, blogged and finished!
