Project Life 2018 has been going pretty well for me so far. I've completed all my spreads for this year until the end of June, so I've just got July to catch up on! (Let's not talk about how behind I am on the previous year's PL though, haha...)
I'm working with a 12x12 format for Project Life but I enjoy using different sized inserts here and there for specific events. Today I'm sharing with you one of those inserts. I decided to make a 9x12 insert to document a fun outing to a scenic forest/park. I had a lot of photos I wanted to include and thought they paired perfectly with my new Wilderness journaling cards. Here's a look at the front and back of the 9x12 insert:
I had a hard time deciding which cards to use, but in the end opted for the circle filler card. I'll be saving the trees one for some other adventures this summer. I also added some digital stamps to my photo (the trees + the "outdoor explorers") before printing it out.
I decided to create my own filler card for this pocket by stamping a little mountain scene + 'adventure seekers' frame with the Seek Adventure stamps I designed for Feed Your Craft. The chipboard pieces used throughout the spread are old ones from past Studio Calico kits.
I added another digital stamp to my 4x6 photo (+ a geotag rub-on). I decorated my journaling card with some washi tape and a little word sticker. Keeping things super simple with some small embellishments.
A quick summary of the products used:
- In a Creative Bubble Wilderness journaling cards + Wilderness digital stamps
- In a Creative Bubble + Feed Your Craft Seek Adventure stamp set
- Studio Calico embellishments (from past kits)
- Washi tape from my stash
How is your Project Life album coming along this year? Let me know in the comments below.
Thanks for looking! xo.
