Anyway, I saw the above quote on Pinterest awhile ago, and it's resonated with me ever since. It's definitely something that I've been keeping in mind ever since I decided to design my own journaling cards. It motivates me to follow through with my ideas, aka a little online shop :) It's scary to step out of my comfort zone and start something new, and I don't know how this will turn out, but I'm also excited at the same time.
I'm currently working on finishing up the designs of the last set of journaling cards... I've decided to make 5 different sets in total (mostly 3x4 cards with a few 4x6 cards thrown in) before figuring out how to set up the shop. I hope it won't be too difficult. Since I don't have time to deal with printing and packaging and shipping issues, I've decided that these will be downloadable files that you can purchase and print out at home. I printed out some of the cards myself today, to see how they would look in person, and I'm really satisfied with how they turned out. I'm excited to use them in my own Project Life. I hope you will be too :)
Just so this post won't be all text, here is a sneak peek of one card from each of the 5 sets...
As always, thank you so much for your comments and support! I appreciate any tips, advice, new ideas, and feedback if you care to share. So hopefully, the shop opening is coming soon... :)
I didn't get around to commenting on your PL post, but wanted to say that it's definitely the best take on PL that I've seen so far. Simply stunning! As for the online shop, go for it! Your designs are gorgeous and it's the perfect time and opportunity with all the current excitement over PL in general. Good luck with it :)

ReplyDeleteOh I'm so happy! I'm glad it's a download as well so there won't be an issue of them selling out. Can't wait to buy some for my PL album.
ReplyDeleteI'm super excited for when you open your store!!
ReplyDeleteLove these! Would also like to be able to purchase a set that is designed for the real estate punch from EK Success that you had on your blog some time ago.
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! I can't wait for your shop to open. These will all be making their way into my project life! So glad they are a download, no worries about selling out ;). I'm super excited!

ReplyDeleteLove these!! I love the colors too!! I can't wait to get them in my book!
ReplyDeleteLove your PL album! I hope you make 4x6 journaling cards! Wish there were more options in that size!
ReplyDeleteJust noticed on Studio Calico you said your little pockets in your PL album is 2.5 x 3.5? Will you be able to resize your cards then?
ReplyDeleteActual size of my cards will be 2.9x4" so that they'll fit in the Project Life Design A page protectors, since I figured most people are using them.
DeleteI'll be including individual jpgs of the cards, as well as printable pdfs. The jpgs can easily be resized to 2.5x3.5, which is what I'll be doing to use for my own PL :)
Some of the cutest cards I have seen so far! I can't wait to purchase. :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic Geralyn! Definitely link us up when you've got them available for purchase!
