My first card was made with the Blue Note Card kit. I love the stamp set so much and while they're sort of birthday themed, I decided to make a non-traditional holiday card. This is such a fun sentiment and those arrow chevrons - awesome.
I used some water colors to paint in the word 'love', cut it out, and added some foam adhesive behind it. And easy way to add some dimension to a card!
My next card was made with the Cole card add-on. I decided to go for a CAS approach, focusing on the lovely stamps. I heat embossed the trees with powder, aqua, and leaf zing. I used watercolor paper as my base so that I could add a simple color wash at the bottom of the card without the paper warping. I plan on making a bunch of these cards to give out for Christmas!
The detail on the tree that Kryssi designed is amazing! A quick embossing tip - you can use a small dry paint brush to brush away any stray embossing powder before you heat emboss, that way you don't get any extras on your card :)
