Coming soon // holiday collection

I've started posting a few sneak peeks of my upcoming holiday digital/printable designs here and there on instagram and facebook, but I wanted to share more information and some of my thoughts before I update my shoppe this Thursday, November 1st.

I love Christmas, the holidays, and this time of the year, so I was excited about the idea of designing some new Christmas items for my shoppe - so excited in fact, that I started them in September. I worked on and off until most of the designs were completed by the end of September, but it seemed a bit early to be releasing Christmas items at that time so I've been holding off on releasing them until November 1, right after Halloween.

I put a lot of thought into this release, and I realize that while many people celebrate the holidays and Christmas, it may not necessarily be wintertime in their country. With that in mind, I decided to do two separate themes - Christmas themed items and Winter themed items. Care for some sneaks? ;)

Christmas - coming soon: 2 journaling card sets, 1 set of circle tags, and 2 sets of (new) cut-outs

Winter - coming soon: 1 journaling card set, 1 set of (new) cut-outs

I've also been working on my December Daily 2011 (I want to finish it!!) and because I couldn't remember what happened on a December day last year, I ended up working on filler cards over the weekend. Since I saw The Nutcracker ballet for the first time last year and I loved it, I challenged myself to illustrate a nutcracker, which took a long time but made me happy. There was a bit of interest about him on instagram, so in addition to the Christmas and Winter themed sets, I've decided to release him with three other filler cards to create another set. Here is Mr. Nutcracker:

Thanks for coming by! I can't wait to show you what I've been designing and I hope you stop by on Thursday for the full release and update :)

  5. Awesome, love the nutcracker. I'm new to your site but intend to do a big shop soon... I'm going to use just your products for my 2012 digital PL album. :) Thanks for thinking of us having a summer Christmas like me in New Zealand.
I'd love to see more filler cards in the 6x4 landscape size if possible.
